To take on issues with the lock assembly in the door you need to open up the door panel and try to move the assembly.
Rear door lock stuck.
Look to see what is holding it up.
Lubricate the assembly and try to move it again.
To change the latch remove the two grommets from the door jamb at the latch.

It s actually my rear hatch door and it s crazy but there are not any rods in this door whatsoever.
Hold down the spray button until the wd 40 begins to overflow from the lock opening.

The key will turn the lock mechanism from closed to open but the horizontal handle will not push up.
It is crazy but this door does not have a keyhole in the handle and because of the metal framework the actuator is in a total blindspot inside.
Use a 10mm nut driver to remove the two nuts holding the latch.
Press down on the button on the rear of the wd 40 canister to begin releasing the lubricant into the lock.
You should notice a difference immediately if this takes care of the issue.

The rear cargo bay door lock seems to be jammed worked fine up to a month ago.
However with a car door lock stuck in the lock position even when you use your car key remote the issue is greater than just the keyway.
The lock actuator consists of a small electric motor that drives.
Care must be taken not to drop the nuts inside the door but the nuts are angled slightly upward so gravity is on your side.

I ve removed the internal plastic door cover and monkeyed around trying to push or pull anything associated with the mechanism.
