Use a step ladder to access the garage door opener s power cord and motor unit.
Loosen the two terminal screws on the.
Remove the two screws that secure the wall switch to the wall with a phillips head screwdriver.
Again depending on the model of your new wall button use a phillips head screwdriver or small flat head screwdriver to attach the new button to the wall.
Install the new wall control.
Place a stepladder beneath the garage door opener and unplug the power to the unit.
Place a stepladder under the garage door opener motor head so that you can reach the opener power cord.
