Remove Inner Door Panel Ge Dishwasher No Visible Screws

Remove a screw from each hinge and remove the hinge.

You may need to open up the dishwasher door in order to remove the screws at the top of the panel. The control panel and front panel will pull off so that you can access the dispenser from the inside of the inner door liner. Slide inner panel up to release the tabs holding the 2 panels together. You will need to remove the entire door.

Separate the outer door panel and control panel slightly from the inner door panel and rest the outer panel on the floor while you disconnect the user interface control wire harness from the control panel. Open the door and there is a circular vent in the upper left corner of the inner door liner. Remove the kick panel which is located between the toe panel and the bottom of the dishwasher door. Support the outer door panel with one hand as you remove the final 2 screws so it doesn t fall.

Removing top and side panels. Carefully lower and remove the dishwasher door outer panel and set the panel aside for disposal. Place door assembly on protected surface outer panel down 3. Unscrew this vent cover turning it counter clockwise hard and then the inner door liner and the control panel front panel will remove.

Separating the door 1. Remove the door panel remove the. Dishwasher door panels can be removed easily but you still need to be very careful. Turn off power remove bottom toe panel.

Remove the inner door panel screws. Support the outer door panel with one hand as you remove the final 2 screws so the outer door panel doesn t fall. Find the small door wire connector and unplug it remove the door cables from the hinge and now you can pull straight up on the door to completely remove it from the dishwasher. Open the dishwasher door completely once the machine is off.

Remove vent cap on top control doors 4. Flip the circuit breaker off or unplug the dishwasher and then remove these screws. You may have to slide the dishwasher forward out of the cabinet a few inches. The actual door and door panel don t seem to match the diagram.

Step 4 remove the front panel. Push vent conduit into door area 5. Along the edge you ll see a total of eight screws. Pull the panel off the dishwasher.

Remove 2 hex head screws approximately 3 inches from bottom of outer panel 6. Remove these with your screwdriver and tuck them away in a ziplock bag to keep them safe as you ll need them later. Remove the torx screws on the inner dishwasher door panel that hold the outer door panel in place. Now you will see 2 screws that holds the door panel to the door.

With the dishwasher door open remove the torx screws from the inner door panel.
