So i just finished fixing all four of the vinyl panels attached to the door panels on my 2003 taurus sel. Replace the 8mm screw near the top inner area of the door panel that was hidden by the wood grain trim bar. It s just knowing where the screws are. Check out my amazon auto accessories store.

Not difficult at all. Lets make that weekend job less painful. I had the same problem the leather vinyl material was pealing off on all four panels. As you pull your door panel off there s a little pin here on the door.

Pull your door handle out. On the rear doors remove the rear door trim panel detach the electrical connectors from the components if equipped and remove the wiring harness from rear door. On the driver s side front door disconnect the window regulator wiring if so equipped by removing the wire connector cover loosening the screw and separating the connector halves. Once you got all those screws out you kind of just want to reach under your door panel carefully pull there s some pins on the bottom there s some up near the top here too.

This tutorial was great but my fix was a little more simple. Line up the plastic peg and pop rivet friction fasteners on the rear of the door panel. Get the lock up and out.
