Continue working on the rollers one at a time until you ve replaced all but the top 2 rollers.
Remove rollers from garage door.
I fall in the second camp.
Pull out the hinge away from the door and then old roller out of the sleeve in the hinge.
When you have replaced the bottom 4 rollers you ll realize that you won t be able to replace the top one because it won t line up with the opening in the track.
Grab a socket wrench and unscrew the retaining bolts to the brackets that hold the garage door rollers.

Bend the track back into alignment and then roll the door all the way open.
Roll the door down to the next roller and repeat the same process for removing and replacing the rollers.
Again do not do this for the bottom roller.
Use the 3 8 inch wrench to remove these.
For me unscrewing the brackets was much simpler and only took a few minutes per roller.
In case your garage door is made of steel then the hinges would be secured with hex headed screws.
For the wooden garage door use the 7 16 inch wrench to remove the nuts that are used to hold the through bolts on the roller hinge.
After removing the nuts use a hammer to knock out the bolts.
