Removing Back Door Panel 2010 Corolla

Disconnect the wiring harness.

Removing back door panel 2010 corolla.

Pull the little phillips clip out on the side of the door panel. Some of the clips on the panel may come off and stay on the clips on the door. Remove the phillips screw in the inside door handle. Pull the door opener handle and lock unlock mechanism out of the door panel.

This may require a bit of jiggling to loosen the panel. Gently pull up on the black plastic retaining tab at the top of the door opener and lock mechanism to release it. Do so gently and don t damage the panel. You need to transfer those clips back onto the panel before you connect the door back.

Pry up the corner panel on the inside side of the side mirror. Pull up the armrest panel and remove the exposed phillips screws. Insert your trim removal tool into the edge of the door panel and work it around the entire edge to disengage its clips. Use a putty knife to unpin the door panel from the door.

Front door panel removed. Remove the triangular panel at the top inside corner of the door panel. Use a putty knife to unclip the door panel from the door. Angle the door panel towards yourself and support the bottom of the panel with your thighs.

Remove and set aside the door handle. Pry up the switch panel. Lift the plastic door panel up and off the metal door frame. Saru something stronger.

With your screwdrivers pry up the top of the door pull and remove the two phillips screws.
