Firmly pry out the bottom edge of the door panel to disengage the pop rivet friction fasteners.

If equipped with power windows remove the door pull handle. Step 2 pry open a screw cover in the bottom of the door pull up on the armrest. Lift door panel off frame. Remove the front door trim panel.

Slide a flat bladed tool behind each of the retainers and twist the tool to disengage the front door trim panel from the front door 20124. Once you pop this one there will be a wire connected to it there s a small tab on the side of the connector which you will press with your screw driver to release the connector then pull the connector you can also leave it connected just loose from the door panel to give you some room to move the door panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Tilt away top edge.

Door lock handle cables. Remove the one front door trim panel capped screws from the door pull handle. Not even the power button on the door panel will unlock the passenger doors. I removed mine to replace the door lock actuator but you may also need to work on.

Continue pulling out the pop rivets at the bottom and both sides of the door panel. Pry around the edge of the trim surrounding the door release with a panel tool to loosen and remove the trim ring.
